Mike Bigelow – Lead Vocals
Mike keeps the show going with his quick wit and ability to connect with the audience. His love of music is demonstrated by the many musical influences in his life, ranging from The Rolling Stones to Phantom of the Opera Star Sarah Brightman. Blues is one of his favorite styles of music with artists such as Buddy Guy and his all time favorite, guitar genius, Stevie Ray Vaughn. The music from the sixties is what he listens to during the day and what he loves to perform for audiences from the Baby Boomers to today’s younger crowds that really appreciate the classic rock n roll of the sixties. Mike truly believes the Oldies will keep you young!
David Burgess – Keyboards, Guitar & Vocals
Having played in a number of bands, David pushes forth solid background and lead lines from the keyboard. He actually began as the bass player for The Headstones, but when the band needed to expand their variety of music, he was the logical choice to move to keyboards, based on his years of background in piano. David explored the more progressive styles of music in his early years as a musician and has come full circle and now enjoys the sixties music of his roots. His musical influences include Sam Cooke, Fats Domino, Dion and the Belmonts, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and most of the Doo Wop groups.
Pat Cardin – Drums & Percussion
The rock-solid beat provided by Pat is the foundation of The Headstones music and is driven by the sheer joy of entertaining people. Pat has not only played in many bands and many different styles over the years, but has a legacy of students in the region. Many of whom have made music their career. His favorite style of music is the sixties and seventies. His musical influences range from Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five, Dino Danelli of The Rascals to Ginger Baker of Cream, all drumming legends. Once you have experienced Pat’s playing, you will truly understand why people drive literally miles to hear him perform Wipeout.
Gary Claggett – Lead Guitar, Keyboards, Harmonica & Vocals
Having played with a number of bands in his musical career, Gary brings a good deal of versatility to the band, while providing strong guitar parts. Some of Gary’s favorites are Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, James Taylor, The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton and Lynard Skynard. Blues, Southern Rock and the rock-n-roll of the sixties are the musical styles that he keeps coming back to time after time. Gary’s love of music motivates him to continue his studies with one of the premier guitar instructors in the region.
Park Crain – Bass Guitar & Vocals
Song writing is one of the many musical avenues Park chooses. Whether it is strumming out a melody on his 12-string or laying down tracks in the studio, music has always been his first love. His aggressive style on bass provides the groove that is so necessary in the high-energy music of The Headstones. Park explored many styles of hard rock with various bands over the years, including an album of original material with Easter Island. Today that work is considered very collectable. His biggest influence has been the group called Yes, but he also enjoys The Beatles/The Beatles and oh yeah, The Beatles!
Bobby Franklin – Keyboards, Guitar & Vocals
Playing high energy music is one of Bobby's favorite things to do and with The Headstones he certainly has the opportunity to showcase his keyboard skills. Bobby has played with a number of bands over his career, including rock-n-roll bands and Christian music groups. This wide range of musical experiences helps him lay down colorful musical foundations while soaring on featured leads. Bobby has done considerable work in the recording studio and enjoys blues and the hard driving music from the sixties.
David Jarnagin – Sound Extraordinaire
Passion for music is a driving force for David. He was building speaker cabinets before he entered high school and experimented with many different sounds while playing in bands. His love of music and his natural drive led him to form his own company that provided high-end sound systems for venues throughout the region. Today his ear for sound and his years of experience in the studio bring a clarity to The Headstones sound that is unsurpassed.
